When does Crown Pine Timber lease land?

Crown Pine Timber leases land all year long. Maps of tracts available for lease will be posted on this internet web site and can be viewed or printed for viewing. Applications must be made on line and sent to Crown Pine Timber via the web site.

Can we (the recreational club) limit hog hunting?

The translocation and release of the wildlife species or domestic stock of any kind on Company land will not be allowed without written consent from the Wildlife Department. Furthermore, feral hogs are not to be protected or propagated on TIFPC property. There should be no hog limits enforced, and harvest of hogs should be strongly encouraged, as long as it is done in a safe manner and does not constitute trespassing on neighboring clubs or properties.

Do we (the recreational club) have to let another recreational club cross our leased property?

Adjoining recreational clubs should always cooperate regarding access. Use these opportunities to learn who your neighbors are and find out if the clubs can work together to improve recreational activities.

Is Crown Pine Timber land open for recreational purposes if it is not currently leased?

Crown Pine Timber leases its land for recreational purposes. Tracts not leased are generally not leased for a reason. These tracts are not open to the public for leasing. Crown Pine Timber makes land available to the Georgia and Alabama Departments of Natural Resources for public hunting opportunities. We have over 80,000 acres in the Texas Parks and Wildlife Public Hunting Program in Texas.

Where can we plant food plots?

We encourage lessees to establish food plots to supplement the natural foods available for game and non-game animals on your lease. Unless arrangements are made with the Recreational Lease Group, food plots should be placed in areas devoid of planted pine seedlings or trees. On most tracts, logging decks are left for food plot establishment; other good places are along road, power line, and pipe line right-of-ways, and abandoned fire breaks and woods roads.

Crown Pine Timber has destroyed my gate, food plot, etc. Will Crown Pine Timber replace them?

Improvements meeting Company policy and standards damaged by Crown Pine Timber contractors will be repaired or replaced by the contractor.

How can I identify the tract once I'm on the ground looking for it?

As a general rule, Crown Pine Timber uses blue paint to identify outside boundary lines.
